| I am sitting writing this with my cat, Tuppence, snuggled up next to me purring contentedly. I know if I move there will be a loud, disgruntled squawk of disapproval – one of her many forms of communicating her needs, desires and feelings. I often remind myself to learn from her. | I recently went home to England for my Dad’s 80th birthday. This was a wonderful opportunity to bring four generations of the family together to celebrate a special occasion. The two youngest little girl cousins (3 and 5 years old) had the best time playing together; they spent an afternoon in the garden playing in the cubby house and on the slide. Due to plenty of rain the previous day, the garden was nice and muddy but instead of stopping them it became a joyous chance to make mud pies to go [>>>] |
